So, this piece of garbage was unveiled at the MTV awards. What do you guys think of it? Personally, I think it's overrated. I heard so much about this trailer recently, and how "good" it is, and how it look soooooo (emphasis on the ooooo) much better than the other movie.
And then I watched it. And all I could think was, "this looks like it's going to be just as terrible as the first." I was annoyed to READ about Bella be whiney, let alone get to watch it on the silver screen. Sigh.
One thing I WILL praise about New Moon, though, is Jacob. Jacob looks JUST how he should, he's ACTUALLY good looking (grr Robert Pattinson), and the wolf-transformation is actually pretty cool. I'm glad Stephanie Meyer at least knew enough to stay away from ruining werewolves like she did vampires. So I can accept that Jacob isn't a man-wolf, but an ACTUAL wolf. Nice loophole with the 'shapeshifter' on her part. It looks good though; Jacob is the only reason I could possibly have for liking anything about Twilight. So good job, Jacob!

I think the whole franchise is a piece of garbage, I've never liked it , but when I saw that wolf on the preview I was like HOLY SHI- that looks great I might go and endure the movie just to see the wolves transform lol. -+-Win32##Mozilla Firefox 3.0.10##1024 × 768##1-+-

If you notice, the only dynamic characters that exist in the Twilight series are the Werewolves. They all have their own unique quirks/past, and each has their own unique personality to go with it. And then you have the humans/vampires/Bella. *looks like a cat drenched in water* -+-MacPPC##Mozilla Firefox 3.0.10##1680 × 1050##1-+-

Haha! That's such a sad story, David! xD I read the books because I'm a girl and heard it was awesome, plus I like Vampires & Romance...figured you couldn't booger something like that up too much.
But I was wrong. Oh lawd, I was wrong...*rocks back and forth*

Just ignore it if you don't like it then. I've never once in my life made a thread about how I hate something entertainment-wise. Entertainment is always directed at a certain audience (it can't be directed at everyone because then everyone will hate it) and when it doesn't fall into your category of audience, it doesn't mean it's bad.
You know how many threads I've read that World of Warcraft is horrible or overrated? It's about your preferences and that's it. It's like arguing or complaining over ice cream flavors.
I happen to like New Moon and am going to see this movie at midnight. I agree with all your friends. This movie, with it's new director, is looking much better than the last one.
